Hulk from Thor Ragnarok Movie
I think the real thing looks better than my pictures.... my photos are not well lighted.
For roughly $200 this is a nice piece. For collectors that care about high quality and don't have a huge budget, I'd fully recommend it.
I don't have a lot of statues but my one issue is this varies from other scales I own. I have a few Bowen 1/7, Sideshow 1/6 Dioramas and one 1/4 Avengers Hulk. This one is 1/8. But it is big enough to show plenty of detail and the paint quality is good too.
I looked at the other pieces sold like this one... all less expensive except for the Hot Toys version. I think Gentle Giant came out the best and is easily worth the additional money. Although the three others I have seen all have their good points too. The two less expensive ones clearly look less expensive compared to this statue... particularly in person. The Hot Toys is well done and massive if you are ok with the fact it is not a statue. I love the real bristle headdress on it-- but it is significantly more expensive I believe.
All in all an easy thumbs up from me. I loved that gladiator scene in the movie.... it brought to life one of those childhood dreams of seeing my two favorite superheros throw down. Still can't believe the comics have been realized so well in movies.
