Yesterday, The Batman Statue Collector reported that Thor Gunderson Of DCX Friday Open Mic (YouTube Channel) is taking a break. Judging by feedback, many, including myself, are going to miss watching Friday Night Open Mic. By the sounds of things, the show will not be returning anytime soon. I guess many of those who appear on the show from time to time can be followed via their own YouTube channels.

Very sad to see, but I understand. I wish him the best and when things get better I hope he will consider coming back with Open Mic.

I was not aware he was going through anything. I figured he wanted a break, as to go live every week for 2hrs requires planning, along with various tasks, news gathering, image gathering etc.

His lengthy FB post discussed issues with Covid, his personal life, and issues behind the scenes. Nothing about his post suggested that there is anything temporary about this break. It seems permanent.
