Moore, Dynamic Forces, Attakus all were minor players. Yeah it was SOOOOOO much better then.
I’ve seen your collection room. Your room is filled with mostly older Bowen statues and a couple 1st Gen SS DC PFs right? That’s right when ---- started to hit the fan, right?

But yeah...I can see you really are buying into the hobby these days.

nbr3bagshotrow is spending his time/money on Tweeterhead these days, as are many forum members.

I think most are confusing the industry, the hobby, and the market.

Of course they all 3 interact.

Whereas only a few of us are collecting primarily Prime 1 1/3 scale pieces.

People collecting very large scales should be the last to complain.

1) They know that 1/3, 1/2, and 1/1 statues are big.

2) They know that these statues cost $800+ before taxes and shipping.

3) They know that some of these statues are shipped in multiple boxes.

Either get a size-appropriate abode or don't collect 1/3, 1/2, and 1/1 statues.

I aspire to own the Oxmox 1/1 Amber Heard Mera one day. I for sure will not buy it until I live in a house that's suitable for such a purchase!!!

I've never really whinged about prices. Nor do I see many complaints regarding cost in the Prime 1 threads. It's more or less accepted. Though I do think that the new Aquaman piece that I just preordered is a bit overpriced.

Though it is epidemic in the Sideshow threads.

The only thing I hate about pricing it seems popular characters immediately get a premium compared to lesser character. I totally understand a large heavy statue costing more but why have huge gaps between say Wolverine and Thor or Miles Morales and Rogue. I’m using SS as example . All of these fit into same boxes approx but my Thor who I do have on PO is just under 1K Canadian and my Miles Morales is 700. A premium of 3 bills seems unjust thise things drive me nuts

How long can this high last?

The higher the prices, the smaller your customer base.

I was sort of surprised Sideshow didn't stick the 'Sideshow Maquette' label to the new Thor piece, especially given its price anyway.

Sideshow increasing prices with each statue, even incrementally, sucks. At least let people finish a line or complete a set at the same MSRP.
