The positives:

● The (apparent) hand sculpting takes me back to the early days of Games Workshop metal miniatures, where their entire catalogue was sculpted by hand! 100 points for nostalgia.

● Congratulations on taking this step to create your own pieces - I think a lot more of us collectors would enhance our hobby time (and money) if we did the same. It would also make these forums more interesting. More creative than consumerist.

The Criticism:

● If you want to create something - machine like, it might be better to invest in a basic 3D modelling program, and 3D print your panels and pieces. You'll get a much better overall sculpting finish.

● It looks like you've painted the piece using a paintbrush. That's the hard way! No matter what finish you're going for (hyper real or cartoon) - for vehicles (and figures to be fair) - an airbrush is a must. If you're a master painter, you can use toothpicks, and the outcome will be great - but for us mortals, an airbrush is simply the best option.

Good luck on your future pieces - and remember, things can only get better the more you do!

If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?

Very nice, what medium did you use to sculpt? I've been experimenting with sculpey as you can bake in the oven, really easy to use

Interesting, I've never worked with wood before, except as the base for sculpey statues
