For me this doesn't quite hit the mark with the facial likeness. I appreciate the attempt, but not enough to buy. I still hope it does well so we can see more musician collectibles made.

But......what's the point of making more, if the sculpting quality isn't there?

Each statue really needs to hit the mark, to justify the next in line - in my opinion. The way the world is going, near enough isn't good enough. If this company can't deliver - then put down the tools. No statue is better than a poor statue - again, in my opinion.

Although I like the way it looks far better than the way it looked in the shadowy preview it's not near a good enough likeness to make me purchase it. I see a little of Cobain in it but not very much.

Will wait for production pics. Want at least the 1/6 figure.

On the subject of the 1/4 piece. We all know the factory paint app will take the piece down slightly.

Please - and I mean this genuinely, can someone educate me on the point of these videos.

I don't understand if this is just A.Kim showcasing her talent, as a kind of self advertising. Or is this supposed to get me excited for the actual figure?

Because, unless P1 has this poor lady locked in a cell, painting every figure that goes to the end customer - as advertising for the actual figure, it's either stupidly pointless, or maliciously misleading.

If any newb to the hobby out there, sees this video, who would blame them for expecting that to be the final product? I mean, surely A.Kim or even P1 know that this might happen. And to be honest, even if you're a veteran collector - what's this video do, other than to rub your face in the fact that you're never going to get a piece of this quality level.......

They represent the skills of all involved. A view into a world of what is possible when it comes to sculpt and paint.
