Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Nice pickup! I've always preferred that costume better than the Jim Lee one.

I always thought that costume made Cyclops look like Racer X from Speed Racer

I meant the comic design. I know it's silver in the comics but I always thought it would look better in gold. It would match the rest of his costume and look better IMO.

Oh hell yes! I personally can't stand Lee's Cyclops or Storm costumes.

Something has always felt off about the anatomy proportions on this one to me. Legs too big for top and head a bit skinny also. It is probably just me, but I cant not see it when I look at this. The Cockrum costume classic is my personal fav for Cyclops.

[QUOTE=SDguy;6078253]Always loved the design, pose and paint on this piece. In person it's even better. I just randomly put in a max, didn't really think it would win, Ebay bid, yet, here we are!!

well, I was not planning on getting this (like it was for the past few Bowens I purchased) but I was following it for the heck of it, threw in a bid at the last minute and Phoenix arrived today. I always loved the character and to me this was one of the finest costumes that Dave Cockrum ever designed. I always wanted Bowen to do a nice 1/6 museum pose statue and maybe some other company will but until that happens I am happy with this one.

Love that Phoenix! Great score. I have the red version. Try lighting her from behind. The base absolutely pops with light.

I definitely will
I have noticed that it seems like both Phoenix statues do not go for some astronomical price like other Bowen statues have.
I’m thinking it’s because it did have a high production run
