I would have preferred a plain base option, for aesthetic reasons, but I guess they wouldn't have wanted to price it any lower then.

Per F4F Facebook, we're getting a new revamp to the old fugly X to go along with the new Zero piece. News to come. They're also going to gauge interest in the coming weeks about a full armor X and want opinions so keep an eye out on their Facebook.
