As much as I want to stick to my guns and hate on the parts I was hating on, she looks pretty freaking good in person. Unfortunately my photo box lights blow out the green too much no matter what I do with my phone.

Gotta say ...the body sculpt on this statue is gorgeous and very well done. The only thing is to pick the right skin color for yourself as a collector. For me it was the skin tone version. In person this statue is well worth it.

Thanks, yeah, with so many Ivy options thrown at us, it was easy for me to figure out I just really like my Ivy green, since I bought/PO'ed both. A few more pics....

Incidentally, they really did an amazing job on the skin... it's got this great combo of warm and cool green at the same time. Looks like maybe a yellower base, then cooler green overlay, if looking at the 1 unfinished arm key is any indicator. Really a great effort by SS on the skin.

I think she looks better in your pictures than she does on their website, still with the tweaks you have planned its really going to be awesome

The lighting for his special box is just attuned to statues. If it looked like that in real life I do not think I would touch it to change a thing.
The green looks alive in these pics.

In my defense, her skin is in fact really glowy lol. But yeah, my lights REALLY blow out green. IMO SS absolutely NAILED the green skin on this piece.

Anyone who has the Sleepover Ivy, here is a comparison. Plus some ambient room light pics 2-4, plus day/sunlight in the last 2 pics. Hopefully they show how more subtle and yellow, not pink or orange, the blush is, and how they did a slight amount of similar highlighting around her upper body too.

No need defense it looks good! But yeah natural light is harsh. At least the blush is not over done like the proto.

I don't want to rain on the positive parade, so I will just say that the Poison Ivy in the middle (#2) lacks the detail of the top (#1), mainly in the face. Middle (#2) face looks like a small scale statue blown up. Tweeterhead (#3) is how to do a face....

Buy what you like. Good to be a Poison Ivy collector.
