Its been a while since I posted on this forum, but I will be going this year... for the first time ever...
I pre-registered with my member ID, logged on when the tickets went on sale, and within 5 minutes, I was in line, and checked out.
I was a fortunate one to get the 4 day pass with the preview night!!!!
After that, I booked the hotel and airfare.... I cannot believe it... I am going for the first time.... I am really excited. And, the best part is that I am going solo so now I can take my time and do what I want to do.... this ought to be a blast!
The downside, is that I had to pick the conventions that I wanted to go to this year... I can only afford three, so I am going to C2E2 (in 2 weeks), Wonderfest in Louisville, and SDCC....
Unfortunately, I will not make it to Star Wars Celebration VI, which I have never been to either.
Also, I have never been to Wonderfest... and I think I will be spending lots of money there too!
C2E2 is always a great time, and because it is so close, I have to go.... comics is what got me into this hobby in the first place.
