Yeah, Eerie had a few Frazetta covers. My favorite out of all the covers as a kid was Eerie #77. I won't post a pic but it had dinosaurs and....those.

Yeah. Wish I could post that one. An excellent ongoing from Bruce Jones & Rich Corben. Loved that cover too ... ummmm ... as a kid.

A lot of people think that Warren's B&W run of Vampirella, lasting 112 issues as a b&w magazine, was simply a big comic starring a sexy alien vampire. It was more. Created by Famous Monster mag. co-creater Forest Ackerman, Vampirella did indeed have her own tale, but she was also the magazine's horror-host, framing another Warren anthology magazine. Each issue contained horror tales as well as Vampirella's own story.

Kind of a young Joan Collins thing going on here.

Happy Halloween! - I hope my fellow SF Members have enjoyed my celebration of the great Horror B&W 60's & 70's Magazines. For comic horror fans, these books have always offered a little extra. Hopefully you discovered something new here & worth seeking out!

I'll close with Uncle Creepy & Cousine Eerie by Comic Artist, John K. Snyder. I commissioned both from him a few years back.

Theank's Wombat. I'm glad you love the Horror mags. too. I also really appreciate you chiming in. I'm thinking Pulps for next year. There are jus some amazing covers. I know The Shadow & Doc Savage' pulps, but not so much on the horror titles. Gonna have to do a little research.
