Thanks! The tough part about acquiring an Adams piece is that it appears to be all by chance, i.e., right time, right place.

2017 in review

Very light on the number of purchases this year, but I managed to add some long-time wanted pieces to the collection. A Clay Mann splash featuring a bunch of Valkyries, a Jim Lee Harley Quinn splash, and a Tom Grummett Valkyrie (with Medusa & Elsa Bloodstone)faux cover commission for my Valkyrie & the Lady Liberators themed commissions. Also, a Gary Frank Harley page, a Tony Daniel Harley DPS, as well as a nice little Eddy Barrows Harley page that I like more and more every time I look at it. Please feel free to leave comments on CAF! :P

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

Wow.. Great thread.. made me check .. and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'd tasked myself to not by "small" / impulse purchases and instead focus on the biggies..

The year started with a Fabulous splash by Ian Churchill that I remember flooring me when i first read the comic in 2003-4 i think..

Moving quickly over a Mayhew Supes painting and a Syaf Supes commission to a Fabulous Splash from Hitch n Neary from One of My fave JLA stories :

Got a Steve Rude commish in betn ( it was kinda what i was feeling about my workload was at the time ) and Picked up a Superb n huge Wonder Woman Commission from FRANK Frigging CHO at Singapore Comic Con

Got a fab Gary Frank Cover in the same month :

Ending the year with something I have been thirsting after for a long time.. a Splashy Buscema Conan page. I know I want a few more, maybe a Buscema Conan-
Damsel - horsey Splash / Cover next year

2017:

edit : In hindsight, I guess the Rude and the Mayhew were impulse purchases, but I'm still happy to own 'em

Love/hate this thread

Love seeing all the great art ... hate that I never really keep track of what I actually bought in a calendar year.

Good stuff!

I'm the complete opposite. I keep a spread sheet of my purchases and I also update my CAF on a regular basis.
