The Pull List

I'm just getting back into reading comics after a long absence due to The New52(hated it) and Marvel taking a nose dive(which for the most part is still kinda true but some of the books are getting better). So I started reading a few things at first and now I'm reading quite a few books every month.

So What are you guys reading monthly?

My Current list is:
Batman
Detective Comics
Batwoman
Superman
Green Arrow
Daredevil
Iron Fist
Captain America
Hulk(may drop this, I actually liked it when it was She-hulk, at least it was funny and interesting)

Is there anything you think i should be reading based on what I already read? Is there something on my list you wanted to try but need a recommendation on?

Let's discuss!

well my life is in shambles right now with the move, house renovations, work, blah blah... so i actually havent had a chance to read any of my monthly comics in a long time

my current list is:
batman
all star batman
deathstroke (this might get the axe soon)
mighty thor
daredevil
reborn
seven to eternity

thats it right now, im honestly thinking about switching over to tpb's mostly. i find them easier to read and store but i still like getting the individual issues - really takes me back to being a kid

the problem i have is that my LCS here in michigan now SUCKS. im on a mail order subscription with my lcs from when i lived near chicago but its just not the same

some titles that i find intriguing are batman white knight and old man logan

with so many changes its hard to keep track of whats what and stuff that might interest me. my last lcs would pull comics they thought might interest me then i could always say "yay or nay" when i went to pick everything up

Where are you in Michigan? If it's around Warren I might be able to recommend a shop. Though it's been a while since I've lived there so I'm not sure if it's still around.

I get my stuff from Things From another World, they ship them to me every 4 weeks. Allows me to read a bunch at once and saves on shipping.

im on the opposite side of the state, no where near the "D"... there is a nice shop in grand rapids but its a 45min + drive away. the nearest place to me is inside a mall - which is fine - but they mainly carry toys and back issues. they only have maybe 20 give or take current monthly titles on their shelves and they are pretty random. they also dont bag and board their new books which the stores in vegas, chicago and GR do

i get stuff shipped every 4 weeks as well but all the titles i get started before i moved, those issues are in storage so i dont know whats going on with any of the current stories

then batman had a new arc start when i was in between stores so i missed the first issue and have yet to pick it up so i dont want to read those either. its a viscous cycle lol

How is Spirits of Vengence? I was a huge Ghost Rider nut in the late 80's through the early 2000's. I would like to get back into it.

Oh I forgot I also read The Unworthy Thor so I might go back and pick up the new Thor with Jane Foster, we'll see.

I tried Jessica Jones but just didn't like it much, How's Luke Cage?

Unworthy was pretty good but it's only 5 issues and I'm a little starved for some Odinson material.
