Well, I guess the rarity of the fig itself. A census had the population on it previously at 4 in carded condition. I'm still trying to research the validity of all that exactly.

4? That's crazy. What's the avenue for sales - does heritage do these or is it a strict ebay thing? Hopefully you can flip and make a kings ransom

SWEET! Congrats on an amazing haul. Buying from a friend is really good as there have been a ton of mego items reproduced (boxes, parts, etc.) so knowing these are original takes a lot of the worry away. If you really want to get expert input on this you should join the mego museum website and see what they have to say. I have only been on there a few times but I know that a lot of the big collectors are there. And .... I have to admit that curiosity concerning what this cost is killing me lol
I am a member over there - I could post them and see what the reaction is if you like

I already have them up over there too. Reactions have been pretty similar. I don't think anyone has chimed in on the exact rarity of the fig, but, that's the place where someone will know. I actually joined that site before I bought them so I could ask questions as research before buying.
