They don't go in very far. I used a teeny bit of sticky tack (the stuff for hanging posters) on the ends of the pins and they stay fine now.

Totally agree on fan hand looking better closer to body. It’s a fantastic piece because it works wether you’re collecting Samurai line or just want a cool looking Ivy. This one will be hard to beat

I used a bit of clear nail polish on the hairpins so they stay more secure with friction. I find the hairpins could had be done better, wished they had a different way than friction to lock them in place.

Received mine and couldn't be happier with it! Beautiful piece, love both the portraits but super unsure which I want to display it with.
Not sure if this is an issue or not but my short hair portrait touches her collar bone and I'm worried the paint will rub off or scratch the paint. Anyone else have this on theirs?

Slip a sheet of paper between the hair and collar to be sure. The space is barely a millimeter. If it slides through, just be careful switching the portraits or, in fact, have that piece of paper underneath when doing so so that you don't bump the skin with the corner of her hair.

Awesome advice, thank you! I will definitely use this when I swap to the short hair portrait. Much appreciated.
