It does take more time to sell out statues by doing TH website exclusive sales. But keep in mind that TH gets to keep all of that sales money. No sharing 50% or more with others. So that possibly means more characters and every aspect of the business can be upgraded. Plus Chad can make it rain at the club.

To be expected when you start off with the heavy hitters...he mentioned Batman outselling Penguin in the '66 line... He originally said, from what I remember, that he wanted TH to be the Bowen of DC. That's not happening. Not all their fault that the sales aren't there, but saying Penguin might be made down the road doesn't bode well for a true Batman rogue gallery...what should be their bread and butter with DC. That would've sealed the deal if I wasn't out already. There are economic reasons, second thoughts, people checking out of the hobby altogether, but I think the slow drip and the question of how deep they'll go into the character pool (not too apparently) is just as responsible, if not even more responsible, for the cancellations and lack of interest. Turning to 1/3 busts is a misstep...I get wanting to make characters you won't release in 1/6 but...1/3? yada yada

The bust line is selling well so far. So it hasn't been a misstep yet, and we have a big roster designed already.

Regarding DC 1/6 scale:
I wish they'd dedicate at least 1 slot per year to the classic or "Super Powers" designs. I'd still buy a P?rez Zatanna, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Green Arrow, and Black Canary.

Regarding Beast Man not selling as well as hoped:
He-man and She-ra have not been available for years and were never available from Tweeterhead, only Sideshow. They now both sell for around $1000 online.

Personally, there's no way I'm buying multiple $700 statues on good faith -especially after being burned with the premature cancelation of the Super Powers line. Sure, they redid Skeletor, but continuously telling us He-man will get a new release "eventually" doesn't work for me.

If I could've gotten He-man, I would've purchased Skeletor, Beast Man, Mer-man, and Trap Jaw. Because he was not available, I bought Teela since she's my favorite character and called it a day. But that's a couple grand they didn't get from me because the main character was not attainable. They should've done the reissues sooner.
