Not Ebay - Heritage. No idea why they held an auction Sunday night of Memorial Day Wknd - which is why I think it is the seller's fault. They should have known better. I placed a "cump" bid on the piece early in the week and forgot about the auction.

Yeah, but while Firestorm is not the most popular character, those pages seem more like filler than this page.

Plus, even if the page is only "worth" $120, I still got it for a fraction of that.

I'm not criticizing it, I was just saying that they aren't commanding a fortune on the 'baY these days. And the folks that list them with a high starting price usually come up with no sale. I watch 'em daily on ebaY and none have done much for me. Had I've seen yours though, I probably would have gone for it.

So what's Heritage? Another auction site?

Its an auction house that runs, among other things, a small Sunday comic and original art auction. And a large auction every quarter or so. www.ha.com They often have realllllllly expensive comics

Since they control when the auction starts I have no idea why they did one on the holiday wknd.

They charge a buyer's premium so my $36 bid actually cost $45. but that doesn't make as good of a story
