Mine just arrived, next question is if I'm happy with just Rogue and Domino or if I'd like some other X-men to balance out the Batman pieces.
I think I'm good on the current pieces, but that Gambit is really nice...

Sure enough, the peg won’t go in flush. Only about halfway, but I forced it hard and it went in a little more but still you can see some of the peg.
My worry is leaning over time, this is literally the most important part of the statue! Ugh. And this is the first time I bought from a third party instead of Sideshow so I don’t even know what all I will have to do to get this fixed? $700 plus for this man. Come on.
Will I have to send this back to Secret Compass and they will work with Sideshow on a replacement? How will this work? Any recommendations on what steps I need to take? Thanks

So I’m being asked if I can shave down the peg to make it fit. Not sure I want to try ‘whittlin’ down the most important engineering component of this brand new statue. And even if I did make it fit, would it lean over time? The saw arm is corroded looking around the peg hole and it all uneven inside it. That’s is probably the problem. I’m going to attempt to add pics of that to show. Any advice on what I should do or did anyone go through the same with this piece?

Btw the peg hand looks like the paint melted, all detail gone and a child went back and hand drew the green line on with a marker. Is that normal for this exquisite ‘maquette’?

Wow....it really does look melted. Mine does not look like that at all. Send it back without hesitation. It looks terrible.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Mine looks nothing like that as well. I would return it.

The photo quality add's to the effect.
I just looked at mine. I guess if it fell apart it might look as bad. The yellow gloved right hand is buried into the metal by design.
The reason i would send it back is because of the cracked pin.
