I still haven't read this series yet. I just checked and it was only four issues and cancelled? I thought it sold well too.

I might be interested in a statue after I read the comic.

Joe Benetiz statement on Facebook (Dec '12):

LADY MECHANIKA CANCELLED?

Let me clarify technically it is. Diamond thedistributor set a policy earlier in the year in which if a book did not come out with in a set time after it was solicited . There would be one of two options. Cancel it or resolicit the book at an added cost. We chose to just cancel the book until such time as the book was completed and solicit it then. So it is technically cancelled but I have every intention of finishing this arc and future ones.

Let me please reiterate

Lady Mechanika#4,5 and 6 are very much on the schedule and I am working on finishing it. In addition I'm in the process of working with other creators on future stories. There are lots of very exciting things I have planned with Lady Mechanika.Just have to take care of things one step at a time.

The only reason I divulged the information about the cancellation was because I have been inundated with inquires about the book being cancelled at cons and on social media and emails for the better part of a year. Fans of the book concerned because they've been told by retailers and read post in some forums about it. I wanted to clear the air about the reasons why its technically cancelled but to reassure everyone that it's still very much on track.

And yes the book will continue until Joe is done telling the story. Also this will be a 1/6th scale unpainted model kit.

Any idea on the price (since it will then cost hundreds of dollars more to have it painted)?

The really cool thing (as I'm trying to always look for a positive) is that we could all individually pick the color schemes.

Personally, I love Lady M in blacks, purples and blues.

I've a questions Erik
The Lady M will licenced Benitez or Aspen properties or just Prototypez kit unlicensed?
1/6 or 1/4?
And Agree with Jason with all repect I have, if the discret and excellent Dene Mason is the Artist for the continuity to the Aspen line I am intersesting to see your vision on this character

Lady M is not with Aspen anymore. Also, Erick stated it would be 1/6 scale.

Exactly, Lady Mechanika has always been owned by Joe Benitez, this is an official licensed product between Joe and PrototypeZ for a 1/6th unpainted model kit.
