I'm dying to know the details!
I'm curious too. Did the fella that took it suddenly have a change of heart and return it, or did someone know him and it was either return the art or face the law ??

Yeah I'm thinking it was getting too hot in the kitchen so he sent the art back.

Yep, too hot in the kitchen. I know local police and FBI were involved (to what degree I don't know). The "buyer" came up with a story to try and save face (someone took the art out of the box and replaced with a print so I thought I was scammed ... then that person came clean so I have the art to return to you ... )

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I'd love to hear the specifics of the story the scammer cooked up to try and cover himself.
