Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know their Faun bust came out bad.

This is my concern as well. I remember almost ordering their Faun, then seeing how HORRIBLE the production pieces came out compared to the prototype.
I'm interested in the Hellboy and Abe Sapien...are these 1:1 busts? Are they some kind of resin? Silicone?
Any more info out there?

Almost all ECC pieces are made of a translucent resin. They have never done a silicone bust. The Abe and Hellboy are mentioned as being 1:1.

The booth had 1:1 busts of both, and a 1/3 unpainted proto of Abe. Hellboy appeared to be polystone. Not sure about Abe, as he has a very wet look to him.
The protos were outstanding, but I don't have any experience with their production pieces.

No, nothing new. Cm did some sexy female statue a year or 2 ago. Before that, was the RDJ silicone ironman. CM does pretty much all silicone maquettes. Everything from ECC thus far has been only resin . CM is practically dead as a original producer of statues, it seems.

Abe was definitely resin too. Production pieces are hit and miss from them these days imo.

Their protos are always incredible - really wanted to snag the Pans labyrinth stuff but for the price I thought the production pieces were a bit too much of a downgrade (mainly the hair).
The Hellboy stuff looks great, hope it holds up in production.

Yeah, me too.
I?ll get both HB and Abe if they come out this good.
Any news on pre-order or where to buy? Do retailers or online shops get these?

Saw these at SDCC last week.
The prototype 1:1 busts of HB and Abe look great. Abe should be easier because they just need to nail the paint work. HB has the added hair, and based on their Faun bust that may be problematic for them to pull off.
I?ll probably wait until production busts are shown.
The 1:3 Abe and 1:1 ET also looked amazing!
