Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) - When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game turns deadly in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.
This was my second time watching this murder mystery, this time with family and we all thought it was very funny. The entitled Gen-Z characters are the kind you love to hate and they all get their comeuppance in the end. 7/10

Shazam: Fury of the Gods - 5.5/10
Not terrible, but pretty goofy. Towards the end I found myself checking my watch thinking "this has got to be over soon, right?".

I was amazed at just how often they did absolutely stupid things, it seemed for no reason other than to keep the plot going. Fun but overlong.

It was annoying how Zach Levi played Shazam as such a dumba$$. You can play him as youthful, but he's supposed to have the wisdom of Solomon for goodness sake. I don't remember him being like that in the first movie.

Jurassic World Dominion - 6/10 Besides a few cool moments, I found the whole story pretty bland.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 7/10
Enjoyable movie, great 90’s soundtrack.
There was something I definitely thought was kinda dumb, but then seeing the end credit scene I could easily see how this will work later on.

Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami (2017) - Electrifying concert performances and intimate, personal footage showcase the life and talent of singer and actress Grace Jones.
Released in 2017, the movie documents the recording and subsequent tour of Grace Jones' Hurricane album almost a decade earlier. I didn't know much about Grace beyond her albums and acting roles, so I found the footage of her visiting family in Jamaica to be both illuminating and charming. 7/10
