It really is! I love the 1/4 and I can't get my head around why some people insist on slating it in every thread, but this is another step up from that, as you'd probably expect for the money. This little bust cost me $1400. I think the entire DX 1/4 statue, including 4 really nice heads cost me about $2k... ish. So while this is definitely better, It is an easy choice for those who only want one statue, grab the 1/4 and you'll never know the difference without having them side by side.

That said, having seen how awesome this bust is, I can't wait for my entire 1/3 statue to arrive now.

We always talk about wanting our statues to be flawless, mint. Meanwhile us as human beings we can be beautiful at times, but we HORRIBLY flawed. The first step to being better is understanding this, but even than it's almost impossible to correct our ways, living in this fallen world we call home.

in terms of Predator statues getting much better...i've been saying this for a while. The room for improvement on this piece is so incredibly small that if a company tries to best it, it would be a fools errand. The room for error, the countless nuances of the character's likeness is a nightmare to tackle. I told Prime 1's Kira this years ago when they were on this board...like 7 or so years ago, and my goodness look what have here. A flawless representation that may not ever be bested.

After staring at my FS for 5 weeks straight, it's literally a perfect personification of predator. This was and still is a nightmare for factories to produce, I doubt any company will attempt this again, not until we have perfect nano replicating printing technologies.

Precisely…not a deal-breaker but to suggest they are invisible is false…
