One of a kind Frazetta Barbarian!

This statue was the first Frazetta Barbarian prototype with a base that did not include the slave woman. This Barbarian was painted by Arahom himself with oil paints.

ARH offered the base with the female. The idea with this first prototype was to offer another option with a smaller base without the female but this ended up being scrapped.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It’s better then my prepaint job, I like the Barbarian figure paintup, not a fan of this base at all, the skull and ribs are horrible as is the bloodwork, saving grace is the Barbarian sculpt and paintup.

This Base has the arm and hand and the ribs, different placement of the sword.

Yes, the base is particularly ugly, a total miss.

I too was wondering if this is different than the Barbarian Solo? I think I have seen Barbarian Solos on ebay and thought like 10-20 or so were produced? Maybe I'm wrong. I wanted the slave girl anyway so never considered it but cool to see.

I almost ordered this till i saw the base with his melting feet, and his head looks gigantic for his body, the nose is huge, and the paint job is terrible, makes you wonder how it could look painted professionally
