Randy Bowen gave us the se of very best statues ever made. His art direction was simplistic, yet classy. The sculptures were never over-done with silly poses trying to do to much. Randy had his finger on the pulse of the characters he was sculpting - art directing better than anyone else. He just had a unique ability to present our beloved characters in a way that perfectly captured them in their element, showing off their abilities in a simple museum pose or action pose. The Bowen Designs run was by far the highlight of my years of collecting. Even if it wasn't Randy who was doing the sculpting his art direction made sure that all his statue in his line had the same feel, as they were part of a series, which is why is Marvel Bowen Designs Full-Size Statue line is the greatest line of statues there will ever be. This is my tribute thread to show my thanks and appreciation to Randy and all that he has done for this hobby.
