Ronin Revealed <SPOILERS>

In my opinion, the AVENGERS is a book that takes mid card, mediocre characters, and elevates them to the statues of the big THREE ( Which will always be Thor, Cap, and Iron Man!)

I think it has been part of what makes the Avengers unique even from the first roster overhaul. If we all went back in time and talked at our local soda bar, we'd be scratching our heads at 3 bad guys joining the team, and two mutants no less!

the Avengers MAKES characters great, OR it makes them worthless. Hawkeye, Black Knight, Hercules, Tigra, etc have all benefitted from their membership whereas Dr. Druid, the Forgotton One, Firestar, and Triathete Guy did NOT!

I am willing to give it some time, but it all boils down to writing! My problem is WHY DID ECHO HAVE TO PRETEND TO BE ANYONE OTHER THAN ECHO WHEN NOBODY KNOWS WHO SHE IS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

Maybe the only reason Ronin is Echo is because David Mack created her.
Bendis is friends with David Mack.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and i haven't read the issue yet, but when cap asked DD to join the 'Spew Avengers' it was because he needed help and info about the hand and everything Japan related-and DD recommended...ECHO?!!?

What possible past would she have with the hand?

Well, he IS blind, maybe Elektra and her were standing together and he pointed at the wrong gal!

Echo, is a decent character. Granted I am not sure how she fits in with the new avengers. But, overall her character has potential.

I was disappointed when I 1st learned who Ronin was.

I picked up The Avengers Ultimate Guide by DK Press and the info was in there!

I was really hoping it was either Shang Chi or Iron Fist...

I love when Bendis uses obscure/unpopular characters and makes them interesting...BUT this, this was was just a let down.
