As a big fan of Eric Tan's I would've loved to obtain that OG JP. Out of everything that was the only thing that peaked my interest. Overall I agree, big disappointment and many missed opportunities.

Anyone pick up anything from HCG show this weekend? I missed out on the one I wanted as I totally spaced off the show being busy with other things. Wanted The thief by Chet. Like the size. trying to stay away from larger prints as I am out of room for them and need to clean house.

Yup, disappointed here too. I was really optimistic at the previews but nothing for me. JRDs halloween poster is excellent though and Tan's is a great concept. I may go back for btilc if there's any left, can't make my mind up.

I was hoping that the Halloween print would be good. The original promo image stated that it was a "detail" section. I still like it and it's probably my favorite of the Halloween prints released so far. But as someone on EB put, the house is a bit too Evil Dead. I thought the bottom curve of the house would be a pumpkin or have some credits. Maybe more characters.
Perhaps a variant could change up the house alone for a full street. They supposedly had some problems with the print getting damaged.
Nothing else of interest. A lot of prints that shouldn't even be sold as they seemed like simple photoshop coloring jobs...

I can't believe a decent-sized/known gallery like HCG would let garbage like that in a show. Same thing goes for that Ledger Joker. The ability to manipulate a stock image in photoshop does not make you an artists. And like you mentioned, best part is there are idiots that support hacks like that as the Terminators sold quick as hell.

HB, just so you know, the guy that bought that Tan OG has a tendency to rotate his collection and is a friend of mine. I can contact him if you'd like. Offered me his Englert Spielberg OG about two months after he got it.
