A question about stubble

Hi all,

Im going to be working on a wolverine bust shortly and was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks about about getting a stubble look on a model? as well i would like to get a look of a hairy chest and upper arms (the hair isnt sculped you see) im looking for a relitivly subtle look, and help and pics of the effect would be greatly appreciated cheers

Oh and as well, I work with gamesworkshop paints and because im colourblind i rely quite heavily on them, if you could recomend colours based on these paints or close that would be a great help, if not any help is appreciated thanks again

Hey Dan,

Paint stubble can be done many different ways
(depending on the effect you want)

Here is a REALLY easy way to do it.

After you are done with your flesh tones...seal
up your kit.

Go shopping (with your wife or girlfriend) to a store
that sells womens make-up. And ask her to help you
find a nice flesh grey and blue-ish grey eyeshadow.
YEP the powdered eye shadow stuff....you want the
color to be nice and dark.

Use your drybrush brush and gently work your
eyeshadow onto the areas that you are adding the 5
o'clock shadow. Seal you work when you are happy.

Then use a fine detail brush and some transparent
Grey (from Createx) and simply draw on your hair.
