Superman snow globe enquiry

I picked up one of DC Direct's old Superman Snow Globes (fortress of solitude). I took it out the box, and there is a light white coat around some parts of the actual superman, especially on the inner cape. It almost looks like dust. Does anyone have the snow globe? Can you confirm if all the snow globes are like this?
Thanks..

I have it too, and I don't see any dust, either.

Could it be some of the snow stuck to him? If you had it shipped to you and it's cold old this could happen. I had one of the Batman globes and it was perfect. I mailed it to someone last winter and it was quite cold out and when it got to it's new home some of the flakes were stuck to the glass. Once everything warmed up it was fine.

You have a good point.. Whilst there was no snow stuck to him, there was some of the golden confetti/flakes stuck to him as well.. To me it looked like some of the superman had faded (without sun?), but it seems to be getting it's color back, I think it was indeed... cold...
Interesting case hehe
Thanks again

The box photo looked 100x better than what was inside.
