Did this thing get delayed again???

Not sure why it would get delayed since Prime 1 is already shipping them to customers that ordered directly from them.

because it still has to arrive in the US on a ship (which takes longer), goes through customs (which takes longer) and then get delivered to SS' warehouse so they can start shipping them out.

Compared to the animation of the new anime series, hell yes!! OFC the movies had CGI as well but the new series is just awful CGI

This is the 1997 Anime with 25 episodes and tells the story until the ecplipse (Golden Age Arc). Some few parts were a bit different from the manga but it's 10000x more worth watching then the new 2016/2017 stuff.

Besides this one I really recommend the 3 movies which are also about the Golden Age Arc:

Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler
Berserk Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey
Berserk Golden Age III: Descent

There must be a collection for them too.

After that you really should start to read the manga, only the manga is canon and the real art of miura.

Totally agreed. CGI can look good if it's well done but the new series since 2016 is just awful CGI

Thank you, I'll get right on that. So I take it berserk is SO good, that after I start getting into the series then I'll need to get every statue in this line? Is that how good it is?

I found these 3 on Netflix. Only one seems to have the name you mentioned, arc 2. How are the other 2?


Edit*. According to Wikipedia the name for arc 3 is the advent. And 1 is the egg of the king. I'm guessing what you mentioned is the one and the same. So it sounds like I just need to get the original series and then I'll have access to a lot of berserk. At least enough to gain an interest before deciding on the manga. Cool
