Thinking of getting this? FNC should have it up for preorder soon and no idea on pricing from them, but there should be tax free shipping for you?

Yes, unfortunately... I am thinking of getting this...
FNC is my best option, like you say it's tax free, and shipping prices are reasonable.
I worry a bit about all the electric part of this statue, if the components they used are not good quality...

Sadly there isn’t enough info on them as their first statue, Mai Shiranui, isn’t out yet and doesn’t use LED’s. But considering it’s licensed and of a really big series in mainland China, I can’t see them skimping out on quality, as it will look bad for them as a new company and also for the licensors.

It would be better indeed if we could already admire their Mai and be able to judge their quality. You’re probably right, if PiJi wants to keep that license, it’s better to do a good job. But is it a big license? And about Mai, the statue I’m most looking forward to is the Mai of Unique Art ( Linear)

Yea it’s a pretty big license. Other studios hopped on too in terms of trying to get this license. The other studio I know of who already has it is Coreplay. Other big licenses I’ve seen thrown around are ghost blade, battle through the heavens, and Wu Geng Ji/Feng Shen Ji.
For PIJI Mai the most recent image I’ve seen is this

If these pics are showing a production piece, a lot of people will be happy. I passed on her because of the linear Mai. I hope I won't regret it.
Ghost Blade is a very very interesting and promising license.

I do know PIJI Mai is still up for preorder on spec, but that will incur tax/customs for you. Image may be from wonfes for all I know. PIJI is making it a big deal, especially for their first statue, following other licensed studios in terms of giving cards as authentication for buying from an official distributor.

That is an insane price on that Xiao Wu. Huge contrast to Mercury at $433. Not unless they are not the same scale. Personally, I like Mercury more. Not just because of the price, but the pose too. Which is something you rarely see in statues.
