"Man dies in McDonalds, Inverness"
went to work today/last night and I normally go in to McDonalds to get a cup of coffee to take in with me, but as I was walking up the street, I saw one of what the managers(or around that position) walking in the opposite direction from me and then I looked up and saw that the fast food chain shop was closed. A bit odd: 10 PM on a saturday.
Here's a reoprt from the Net
Quote:
A man died suddenly in the Inverness branch of McDonalds today (Saturday 6 June).
At 5pm, the emergency services were called after the man became ill in the fast food restaurant on the corner of High Street and Castle Street, Inverness.
Police and ambulance attended, however despite attempts at resuscitation, the man in his 20’s was found to be dead.
No further details will be released until next of kin have been informed.

what they fail to leave out, which is rather important, is that the man died of an overdose in a toilet cubicle when somebody saw a foot sticking out. The way it is put above makes it sound like he died from food poisoning

Jeeez. I'd hate to die in a McDonald's toilet.

guess transfat free oil is not a good thing after all especially after injecting directly into the veins.

Yes it does sound as if it was from food when they say became ill.
Would they rather have folks thinking food poisoning instead of users frequenting MacDonalds?

well Junkies are annoying but people dying from your food is bad buisness across the board, so instead of people steering clear of 1 McD's where you might get asked for change by a crack head you have millions of people avoiding millions of restaurants because "hey did you hear about that guy who got sick and died from the food in a McDonalds bathroom?"
