Have any of you guys read Millar's "Superior"? Any opinions on it from those who have?
I saw a sealed hardback of it; read the hook on the back... looks like an awesome premise.

The last Powergirl was pretty good.
Avengers Crusade was hands down the best story I've read in a while.

I enjoyed it. It didn't go in the direction I expected, but I enjoyed the twists in the story.

Cool; I'll probably check that out at some point. Mark Millar typically doesn't disappoint.
I also saw the "Batman: Hush" hardback where all the inking/coloring has been removed, minus the "sound effects" and the word/caption bubbles. Not sure how I feel about it... the contrast of having NO color made for an interesting presentation, though. You could see where Lee "cuts corners", knowing Williams and the colorist will pick up the slack (I'm a fan of Jim Lee, just sayin'... it's interesting to see where he spent his time, and where he didn't).
If I bought it, it'd be because my two softback Hush volumes have seen some use; took them out of their bags/boards and put them with my tpbs/hbs a long time ago.

The Lovecraft Anthology vol. 1, published by SelfMadeHero. This London-based company has been producing some excellent adaptations of classic works such as the Sherlock Holmes stories, HP Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness, and the upcoming A Princess of Mars. I stumbled across The Lovecraft Anthology last week and was happily surprised. It collects several adaptations of his stories, illustrated by D'Israeli, INJ Culbard, and others. What's so cool about it is how, while many of the illustrators have very cartoonish styles, the stories are no less creepy for it. It just goes to show how good of a writer Lovecraft was. I highly recommend this book!

Spider-Man/Human Torch HC. Dan Slott's stories were really great with some fantastic throw-back moments. Ty Templeton's art, though, was a let down.
