2006, Imperium Comics published the zombie-centric, anthologhy book, Trailer Park Of Terror. Fun. With covers by an artist named Nelson -

In 2010 Dynamite put out 2 series, back-to-back of a zombie series called Raise The Dead. Very good. Lucio Parrillo drew the covers & Gliili Vilanova drew the pages. -

It's too bad about that Frank Cho zombie series. He's a fantastic artist and while I appreciate what he does with the female body in his work, I do wish he would branch out a little bit more. Picking that zombie book back up would be an instant buy from me.

I don't think I'd pick it up. The book just stopped with no explanation or anything.

But, you know damn well that Cho would find someway to draw beautiful women in it. By the way, have you been reading his Fight Girls? One issue left to go. Loving it.

Here's a 2010 horror comic worth mentioning for those of you who may have missed it. Boom Studios published it; Kurt Busiek wrote it and Scott Godlewski drew it. The book was called Dracula: The Company of Monsters. Very good. I wish Marvel had published it as part of their own Dracula mythos. It would have fit in perfectly. It's out in trade form.

Around the same time 2011/12, Avatar published a pretty brutal Werewolf long mini called Ferals. Covers & interiors by an artist named Gabriel Andrade. Running 18 issues, it was quite good.

So, as you can see, the 1st decade of the 2000's, horror wise, was mostly zombies or bloated, multi-issued stories. Gone were the classic 1-shots & anthologies. Companies did put out annual Halloween 1-shots that were fun -

Zombies for another sec. In 2006, IDW put out the excellent Zombies (&Eclipse of the Undead), with very creepy covers by Chris Bolton -

I've only seen the art for that one. Looks pretty good. I have the Marvel Halloween Special with Daredevil, Luke Cage and Black Panther on the cover. That's not a bad story. Loved the reference to my favorite X-Man. I did just ordered Nocturnals Omnibus volume 1. Always liked Brereton's art and love the idea of the Gunwitch.
