It?s in the description. Both the carbonite and base are described to have lights.

This looks so bad. I would love someone at ssc do that exact pose without falling over. What a waste of! If people think that looks great needs to get their eyes checked.

I agree. The pose makes him look like a bad-arse.

Unfortunately I won't be getting it because I'm not a Fett fan but I don't see why those who are would skip it.

I think the concept and attitude in the pose is dope.

Sideshow would have to put out a video or email (like they did with Rogue) explaining how they're going to future proof this from leaning before I'd PO, but I appreciate the big swing in engineering.

From Matt Black, the sculptor of this piece:

"When designing a statue I will always do a photo shoot in which I get into the pose or explore poses I would like to see. I also get into the pose many times in the sculpting process to feel/understand the body mechanics.

I've said it before but the problem this piece will have is the peg at the bottom of the foot. If it isn't flush, send it back. If it's loose, send it back. Contact point of the foot with the base would make me nervous.

Let's see Matt strap that thing on like a backpack and then hold the pose. But what do I know....it's gonna be ok.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

All they needed to do was make a base with pegs on the back for the carbonite, then another peg in front for boba in museum pose, that’s it and it will be epic.

But no, let’s make this wierdass backpack looking thing. And we all know ssc will not use metal rod from foot peg to backpack, so who knows how badly it will start leaning in a few years.

Fail, just fail.

he's not falling, he's leaning against it: I think it looks natural and not forced and the pics posted by Matt are a confirmation as well.
I do understand the concern related to the structural integrity and leaning over time, but concept-wise it's fresh and original

Who would lean like that? If the Carbonite was a floating piece, it will move if you touch it. In the movie, it moved easily. Boba would be falling backwards especially with the weight of his jet pack. If you put a 50lb back pack on you (assuming that’s what I’m the jet pack would weigh), lean backward with the leg position like that; I almost guarantee you would fall backwards. The physics is all wrong on this one and Matt missed the mark on this one. JMHO.
