Finished all 8 episodes over 2 4 hour segments with some occasional breaks for food/bathroom. I loved it. Lots of nostalgia and callbacks to other stories

(Firestarter, ET, Silent Hill, Poltergeist, Alien, Goonies, Stand By Me, Resident Evil, Big Bang Theory)
sure, but an interestingly unfolding story that has enough uniqueness to stand as fresh plus almost instantly likeable main characters. I'm looking forward to watching it all again sometime not to mention season 2, 3, and so on.
