Luis Royo - Dark Elf
One of my favorite painting by Royo, in statue form! That is insane!
Sketch of the statue:

Here is the latest 1/4 Scale Dark Elf by Luis Royo
taken at our office.
She looks flawless.

Flawless is one description.
A better one in my mind is 'spectacularly desirable'. Superb.
There is no one part I particularly like, just the whole thing works so well as a complete statue.
Would love one. However.. Brexit has rather diminished the value of my statue fund in US$ terms. Maybe if no-one else likes it, or the edition size is in the thousands and so sells out very slowly I might have a chance a few years hence.
Regards,
Richard.

Does anyone have in hand pictures of this statue? What are your thoughts and review on quality and paint apps?

I have Dark Elf. I also have the original Ritual and Luz Malefic statues. Dark Elf is nice, but easily number 3 in that group as far as paint quality goes. The other two have great skin tone, but Dark Elf has too much yellow for my tastes, and I think they went overboard with the brown airbrushing in the skin folds. Another noticeable difference for me is the sword. The sword's blade seems thick and clunky compared to the streamlined blades of the other two (makes me think of a wooden sword a bit). It has a really nice pose, and the wings put it well above the other two as far as presence goes. It is still a very nice statue, and is good quality for the price. Just not quite in the same league as the first two in the series.

Thanks for the insight Very nice statue indeed but I did notice the paint apps for the few pix I could find on the net were not top notch.

I agree with you guys, the paint job on the Dark Elf is lacking compared to the Ritual and Luz Malefic statues (which I have), which is why I didn't get it.
