I received my 1/4 yesterday, I REALLY hope that they plan the breakdown of parts better on this one, and that they include better instructions to assemble it all...

I hate 1:4 paint job. It’s a disaster.

“Disaster”? How could it be when from the beginning it was based on the comic??

I don’t think that word means what you think it means...

The 1/4's prototype paintjob was based on the film. It was supposed to be a comic piece in name only. That changed in production.

And no, the "final product may differ from prototype" disclaimer isn't enough to account for a completely different style of painting.

The 1/4 is not a comic Predator, it's 100% the Jungle hunter. They used the pose from the big game cover and added a spear to get around licensing, that's it. Saying it's a comic Predator isn't a good reason for some of the paint issues. However, said issues aren't nearly as bad as they were made out to be imo. Now I have it in hand it is a seriously impressive statue, it's arguably the best JH available despite it's flaws, "Disaster" isn't a word I'd use, although individual statues will obviously differ and those we saw with peeling decals obviously fit in to that category. Tbf, much of it is painted quite nicely.

Find where P1 indicated “it was supposed to be a comic piece in name only”…I’ll wait…

Yours may have been a better example than some others.
