She's as big as the Prime 1 Arkham Knight Catwoman!

I think I'm out.

Seeing the full pics, I feel like this is almost too ambitious. I think I would have preferred more of a focus on Lara. There's too much mass on the base and the 2 raptors. She seems really small on top. If it were what I've edited here (and maybe $500 less) I'd buy it immediately.

I like the idea of that edited image. Kinda makes you think the 2nd raptor is unnecessary. And it would be more in line with the previous TR statue they did.

That would half the situation Lara faces.
Assuming the piece is proper 1/4 (not slightly smaller) it's going to take up some box space. Maybe two boxes?

I think they are still figuring this out, since we have to preorder without known shipping cost...

Box shouldn't be too bad as all pieces look separate for easier packaging.

I just scaled the image to measure her, seems she is bigger than the previous Weta Lara (which was more like 1:4.5):

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It is fair when you cost it out, but that doesn’t mean it’s not expensive, especially when I’m into Lara Croft, and not dinosaurs. $1000 for two raptors and $500 for Lara isn’t a good deal for me.

I bought Queen of the Jungle even though I’m not into Jaguars because it was a statue of Lara Croft featuring a Jaguar. This is a statue of two Raptors featuring Lara Croft.

Also don't forget Weta dollars to use later, between $75-$225 depending on your previous purchases with them.
It comes down to what you value. I like the vote character. Adding massive bases with other elements doesn't add value to me. Felt this way about P1 RE 1:4 pieces having zombies and feel that way about raptors with Lara.

If people are happy, I'm glad for them. Space and budget limits vary, and for me this falls outside of that.

But you should also consider the previous 1/4 Lara with tree and jaguar (released 2yrs ago) was 'only' $799
This one is double the price ($100 absorbed by higher shipping).
But yes, all companies are leveling their pricing to the max atm.

Think of all that Weta quality.
Congrats to all who pick this up.
Question; Was the previous 1/4 Lara made in house? or also mass produced in the east?

Bcs then only the proto is 'Weta quality'.
Weta artists gave these raptors an amazing paintjob, but have to wait and see what the factory can/will make of it.
