It would actually be a good thing if they delay this, so P1 can make it as close to the prototype as it can be......

That's pretty much what happens with every US retailer. I think you'd be fine unless you're in a rush.

I got my P1 Alien Big Chap from Secret Compass about 6 months after everyone in Asia and Europe got theirs.

Considering that an ES hasn't been announced, you shouldn't have any trouble getting replacement parts when the time comes.

He said he does not want to wait so no Secret Compass is not recommended for someone that can't wait some time, they are 6mo-1yr+. At this point I would order P1 direct and hope the waitlist converts.

Usually delays have nothing to do with how they turn out, despite someone reliably wishing that same exact thing in every thread.

That is SO common on this forum, not sure why... considering how pessimistic peoples' comments usually are in general, it's such a surprisingly optimistic take on delays.
