Most people can't/won't paint their statues though.

I'm good with the tree. The lighter exposed bark is a bit one-dimensional, but it's such a small area.

Painting skills are essential for this hobby.

Yeah and in that case, if you can?t afford to buy a display, I think people should be handy enough to build some sort of display for these expensive statues and not put them on the floor or have them overhanging off small shelves or cabinets.

I?ll pick up the paint brush when I see everyone putting more effort into their displays and not just into the collection. The display is a major part of it.

That said I got a crap ton of work to do when I get back on 2 separate displays when I get back from Mexico..

I would wager less than 5% of people that buy these can paint more than minor touchups.

You can always send it back and wait a few months for a replacement

I am sure that is what some people have to do, yes, if that is even an option they are given. It's really helpful to be able to do at least minor repair touchups, but very few can actually paint.

I would do that too, but this piece is 3k plus shipping why should I need to do that. I am still enjoying the piece it's just something I should mention since it does not look so good as the rest of the statue does in person.

Yes. Same material. Plastic rubber. Not a resin.
