I had the Spock and returned it as IMO it didn't look like Nimoy and I had the Kirk and sold it as it REALLY didn't look like Shatner.

Kirk wasn't great, but show me one that is. He is extremely tough to nail and I think a custom paint would be necessary.
I thought their Spock was pretty good though.

I have the Kirk and Spock statues and like them enough that I'll likely get McCoy as well. Just curious...was that wall mounted display of ancient medical tools (at least, that's what I think it is) ever seen in an episode? If it was, I don't remember it. And what's that skull-like thing on the wall behind McCoy? I don't remember seeing that on the show either.

The display of "ancient medical tools" was on the wall in sick bay. I especially remember it in the episode SPACE SEED. And, why do they stop at Kirk, Spock and McCoy? Scotty, Sulu, Chekov and Uhura were a big part of the show/team and they all deserve to be made into statues.

Well they did the Gorn Captain after Kirk and Spock, so I got scared we wouldn't even get McCoy.
Anything else after this is gravy is my view, but I don't know if I want to go down the road picking up all the supporting cast. Though it would be massively tempting if they put Scotty in a Jeffries tube! and of course Uhura would be damn sexy.

Whatever happened to this statue?? It was supposed to be a 3rd Quarter 2013 release. My Kirk and Spock statues from HCG are getting very lonely without McCoy

Hopefully it will never get released so you guys dont waste your money. If it does i doubt it will look anything like that paintup.
They dropped the ball on Kirk and Spock's likeness when it went to production what makes you think McCoy will fare any better?
I think it may be recognizable and have a resemblance but their production methods will obliterate the portrait i worked hard on.
