Not all Chun eyes are created equal
Some of the dust has (mostly) settled with Chun, and I've been wanting to discuss a minor detail: her eyes.
First off, her eyes are done well, more beautiful than the original 1:4 BY FAR.
That being said, I do wish the painters were consistent with her eye direction.
This is a minor nitpick, but I've seen a number of Chuns that have a better line of sight than others (including mine).
Take the initial proto, where there is a direct gaze. (photo 1)
Despite minor differences to the production run, it still looks great in a statue like collector Jr Guzman's. (photo 2)
Now. That brings me to wanting to compare with you all: How is the line of sight on your Chun? I've taken a few photos of mine, from 2 different cameras.
She isn't 'googly -eyed' but she does have an adrift look.
Is it bad? Not at all, but I do like the intent, direct eyes that it could have had.

Unfortunately that's just a consequence of Chinese mass production.
And another reason to steer clear of the prototype hype.

Thanks for the photos for comparison man.
I think the eyes on mine are only marginally offset from yours, the biggest issue is see is that on mine her left eyes is obviously looking upwards as compared to her right.
Again, not a major thing, but I wonder if others were able to snag a Chun with a more intent, direct look.

Man those are some pretty good production eyes you got there. Still haven't opened mine but will report when I do.

Yes, I just received an email from Sideshow as well for 2 replacement right hands for my Alpha and Battle Dress from my Legacy Set. I guess the replacement parts must finally be arriving...

good. I ordered my Battle dress and paid in full when it first went up on preorder at PCS but I did not get mine until after the first batch with defective right hands came out so it's good they held out for a while until they shipped out mine.
