Did Chronicle take our money and run?

Not sure what the laws are over there, but is there any recourse to claim money owed with any kind of agency? I prepaid those JP goggles before they had payment plans, so the money went direct to CC.

Not as far as I know. Filing bankruptcy and officially posting the notice from the lawyer is supposed to legally protect them from being sued, individually or class action is my understanding. I feel for all of those who purchased directly. Nothing is worse than being out money and no product to show for it.

I think CC may have sold all the props in a Propstore auction a month ago. At least that's what I'm suspecting as an original Crash McCreery drawing was sold in said auction that Chronicle used to have.

I have been following this thread for a while, and I created an account to add any information that I can. Having three pre orders from Chronicle (two of which were paid in full) I decided to reach out to this law firm representing them for any information. I have yet to receive a response. I'm not sure if I was expecting one to be honest, perhaps that would be considered a conflict of interest, but anything is worth a shot at this point. I also reached out to a few distributors of their products, curious if Chronicle would have made contact with them - one didn't really know, and the other didn't really add anything beyond what a Google search would reveal. Very odd.

Paul Francis hasn't been with the Chronicle for years now.

There was drama around him in far past, before CC. But while CC, everything we know he was fine and did good work for them, pushing to get many of the awesome products available to customers.

If if you remember those of us that received the mysterious email last year or so--warning customers that company was in trouble. Paul Francis is one of a very few people that it may have come from.

Unfortunately we didn't take the hint back then.
