That does look like a very uncomfortable position to hold a cat in, I imagine Streaky would be trying to claw Kara's eyes out within the next few seconds. It's what any other self-respecting cat would do.

Artgerm is pretty popular alot of places. But if you don't like his art then this statue isn't for you. I personally love his art.

I'm just curious to know why Prime 1 and Sideshow feel that Artgerm is the way to go with Supergirl.

Both statues have her in the same costume and have her flying in the clouds with birds at her side.

I like both and think it's great Supergirl is getting some love but I would have hope we could've gotten different versions rather than generally the same statue at different scales.

Most likely since a lot of people seem like comic purists.
What are you talking about? Artgerm is ok. This superlarge "barbie doll" Supergirl is off.

They often like these strange lookings and total anime style.

Anyway I think even for this market this statue is not really well

For me this just another complete failure.
....

Good thing the statue market doesn't revolve around you lol.

Absolutely nothing is fundamentally wrong with this supergirl but everyone seems to have an idea in their heads of what supergirl should look like.

If this is artgem supergirl then it's artgem supergirl judge it on that and not what you think supergirl should be.

Not buying, but she's easy on the eyes. Can't go wrong with this one.

I don't think this Supergirl is poorly done or anything. TBH, it's probably the best, most detailed representation of her on the market. I just think they gave it too much of a sweet-hart vibe. And the anime like portrait really doesn't do it any favors.

When I think of Supergirl, I think of a tough farm girl with the powers of a god...

Oooh, a Lupacchino Supergirl would be amazing! She draws such beautiful faces.

She done very well. Best so far by far. Yes art germ style is near spot on! I like it way better than the 40 year old ss versions and the new anime supergirl by ss which is still good. This one is superior to all of them in details and art style. P1 capture art germs style very well here. This will be my first p1 venture into 1:3 from p1 now that I've gutted out about 35 pf's from man want list from sideshow. The funny thing is these sideshow pf prices are not far from the 1:3's. Give it another year or two and those pf's will be about the same.
