Environments would be awesome but from the sounds of it, during that last Facebook Live, Paul sounded like he was strongly hinting that CC are going to be moving away from Jurassic products?

Lots of talk about how the market has changed and with the new competition from Prime and Iron, plus with all the factory debacles and fan arguments about the dinos, I wouldn't really blame them tbh

They are planning on less, but not moving away. I haven't been wowed by anything P1/IS has shown for JP yet but that could change. Indoraptor is nice, but not sure I want to get into JW stuff

How I understood it, is that CC is going to be selective of what they produce and future items will be the same "caliber" to the Rotunda Rex. So I guess that means big, expensive statues.

I may be in the minority, but I'd prefer a smaller Rotunda Rex under $1000. Not just for affordability, but easier to display as well. My concern is these companies are going to see who can outdo the others on size (i.e. CC's Rotunda Rex is 1/9, so P1 is going to make theirs 1/8).

It is becoming a pissing contest, but that’s normal I guess

Not really, CC already has a 1/5 and I doubt we will ever see anything larger than that, at least until their 1:1 bust.

That’s true. I just mean with the rotunda and raptors in the kitchen, other similar pieces. I think cc’s rotunda size is a direct response to IS rex size.

I don't think this 1:1 bust is happening. to many issues with small ones, imagine a 1:1.

I didn't want to use that term, but yes I agree. CC and P1 both did Baby Blue's. Now they're both doing a Rotunda Rex. Instead of that, I'd prefer is each company did their own thing. CC could do their Stan Windston maquettes, as well as bust and props, P1 could do their statues in dynamic poses and the 1/38 mini line, and IS could do their dioramas. Would give us, the consumer, more product variety as well.

It couldn't be, it came out too quickly after. I think it is partly due to many saying we wanted a larger than breakout size and they listened. These products are in development and each company does not know what the other is working on so that is just a made up "contest".
