Maybe ECC/Cinemaquette will come to the rescue.
Somone asked on FB and they seemed to indicate that the Sideshow/Barton bust was well done and hard to beat so they may not especially with Barton's upcoming APs.

The Battle-damage idea could easily beat it.

Also, it's just a Barton bust and I believe it's even a fan sculpt (from what I recall). Sideshow later distributed it and also required him to include proper foam support for the bust instead of the craptacular packaging a lot of us received.

The orignal thread. Sh!t start to hit the fan on page 33 when we learned that SS would distribute this bust after we were told they were only available through Fred Barton Productions, Inc. when most of us originally pre-ordered.

Oh I know Sideshow's is Barton's. He's doing another run (not with Sideshow) but I'm too apprehensive to shell out the $1500 with a bad history, no accountability, and selling unlicensed product. Also have no idea what the alternative color scheme will entail, maybe the extra flue and iridescence from the later movies which isn't so much what I'm after.

Plus I really can't imagine even ECC/Cinemaquette getting a well done licensed Battle-Damaged one out for less than $2,500-$3,000.

Thanks for the thread links btw.

I believe his product is still licensed (at least the original run was), but some dude named Anticlaus is the one that sculpted it.

Not sure if it’s still happening tbh it’s been awhile since anything was mentioned. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been canned.

HERE’S the other thread

These announcements are all so exhausting.
Strippers are less of tease than statue companies.
