Yeah, I agree, silver could have worked nicely here while maintaining the Noir aspect.

That X-Men Noir gold looks washed out. Maybe it's the photo. But I won't miss it if I don't get it as a bonus.
Looking at the print, I just wish Sideshow's X-Men team was a lot better. No one has really made the X-Men team statues for me to get. They all have small problems with pose and likeness to me.

I think Colossus and Gambit turned out fine.

I don't think I liked the face sculpt on Gambit. And I think there were two Colossus statues. I remember preferring the one inspired by Simone Bianchi's artwork. I really wanted to see that line continue with an Emma Frost statue.
But none of the lines are iconic enough. I mean I look at this Noir print and I immediately know who everyone is and they are in darkness. The poses are simple yet iconic. Sideshow should probably start some kind of non-mixed media "Mythos" line for the X-Men. I only have the Brooks Psylocke. But Jean coming up as a PF and possibly from Brooks should be awesome.

I mixed and matched the Koto and Bowen ones as they compliment each other brilliantly and are almost perfectly in scale. Perhaps that could be an alternative (and likely cheaper) route to go RS.

Yup I totally agree with you. However a lot of people here are adamant about 1:4 scale. However for those that like 1:6 scale, Koto+Bowen allows for a much faster way of building a full X-Men line. There hasn't been a Jean from Koto yet and I've seen a lot of people sub her with the Bowen one and it looks like a perfect match with Kotos. All this talk of X-Men prints and statues makes me want a Danger Room art print with destroyed sentinels to go with my X-Men statues

If you're trying to put together an X-Men lineup you can't beat a Bowen/Koto combination. Sideshow blew it.

It's breathtaking! The silver is way more prominent than its earlier counterpart. They'll look great framed together, no doubt!

TMNT variant next week according to Mark Englert. Normal will be cost on eBay afterwards. People are trying to get close to $100 with the shipping right now. It looks like a beautiful print. I can't wait and hope Mark Englert has a few more classic videogame prints in mind.
