The chargers front office are butt heads too! They tried to screw him over and screwed up their deals as well.

They both are hoping that the players union's plea to have the suspension reduced gets accepted!

I knew they were gonna take a hit.
The way the Saints sure were p!ssing away field goals and some of their loose coverage on the pass plays made me wonder for a minute or two though.
But it was nice to get regular season started and now I get to chomp on the bit til Sunday when the Bears will hopefully give Detroit a what for.
2012 is closing in and I hope to see them at the very LEAST make it to the end of the playoffs one more time, if not win the Superbowl before the world ends. Hahahha
(jk about the 2012 thing)

its hard to guage a game from week one but since the vikes are missing a lot of great players and the saints had everybody in it doesn't look good for the saints

Who's out aside from Rice? I know Favre and Harvin missed camp and may not be on the same page yet but I was very unimpressed by the Vikes offense. They looked terrible. Bernard Berrian stinks. AP looked good though. I think they went away from the run to early. They were only down one score and Favre was throwing the ball all over the place. The Saints seemed content to run the ball in the second half.

i think the biggest hit for them besides rice was the safety they were missing. i don't remember his name but the rookie that played was owned. anything can happen in football and i don't like what ifs but if there starter was there then those everyseries huge passes wouldn't have happened without that rookie screwing up.

harvin did play that is right so he was there. well kinda there.

kennedy, shuler and griffen were also out and of course rice

they have a middle of the road schedule and can amke the playoffs especially if the get rice back mid season.

i think the saints and another nfc south team have 2 playoffs spots locked up already. the schedule for that divison is beyond week this year. heck the saints could go undefeated there schedule is so easy. the pack and viks should take 2 other spots.
