to throw away or not to throw away.
That's the question.
Was hanging with my fellow statue collectors these past few days and the topic of no longer having space came up. I mentioned that I to was having these issue and I decided to throw away boxes of piece that I know I am never going to sell off because they are my favorite pieces. The look I got from some of them were as if I said I murdered a child or pet. One friend said he was getting sick just hearing talk about it. So what do you guys think about this issue. If space is limited and storage is full already,do u keep the boxes or get rid of them.

Keep the boxes. Eventually you'll move and it will be a nightmare packing everything without them.

Got to agree. You know most boxes can be broken down flat and stored easier.

I think this is actually more important that the box. The box is just what transports the styrofoam encased statue. The styrofoam is what actually protects the statue. I bought one statue that came without its styrofoam and it was the only broken statue I've ever received. It was packed very well, but broke nonetheless.

To never sell a piece doesn not mean you'll never have to transport it.
What if you need to move or for whatever reason you need to store it up temporarily.
NEVER throw out anything that protects your collectible.

I recently moved and don't see a foreseeable move in the future but doesn't mean it won't happen. Keep the boxes just in case!

LOL, she says she forgot about that.
That's because I deal with the empty boxes.

Keep the boxes. That's why you still talk to your parents, so you can store them at their house.
