Hey gang,
We're just giving you a heads up regarding the Cable pieces that are about to ship.
As you know, the sculpture is depicting Cable marching over a destroyed, and burned-out Sentinel head and battlefield.
Cable is supposed to look as if he's just been through a major fight. The base should appear as burned and damaged (as in the designation: battle damaged).
The factory attempted to achieve this look of destruction by actually using a heat gun to make areas look melted etc. In addition, they used black airbrush painting techniques in some areas to make it appear burned with smoke damage. Like carbon build-up after a fire.
Please note that this look is intentional. No two of these pieces are the same! The pieces looked great to me, but some may view this as paint errors. Keep in mind these are all done by hand; not mass-produced like action figures.
We're in the process of opening all 250 of these, and hand correcting anything that might be perceived as looking “off”. This has caused a delay in getting these out to you. We figured we'd rather deal with this now, than have anyone panic after the pieces are received.
If all goes according to plan, we should be shipping these out next week.
As always, if you are not happy with your purchase, please return it for a full refund. Sorry for the delay…

Congrats to you guys who ordered the Cable FS. From the looks of these factory photos (wow, the sentinel base is huge) sent by Randy it appears this piece is on top of the list of Holy Grails. 
Speaking of Randy, has RB fallen out of love with Statue Forum. I was on the Bowen website last night and I noticed he removed this site from the Contact Us webpage. In it's place is Statue Marvels forum website. Does that mean he has no love for us here?

Freakin' awesome. I've NEVER been this excited for a BD piece before. Each piece has unique battle damage. How cool is that?
I have a feeling this is going to be a major BD grail for some especially when these start to arrive and in hand pics surface.

Randy has found another love. It happens.
We still get all the updates so it worked out okay IMO.
